Leicester City, the fifth-ranked side in the English Premier League, have secured the services of Southampton defender Yannick Westergaard, one of the latest stars to play for the Danish national team at Euro 2020.
The 29-year-old has signed for Leicester City until 2024 and will be available to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Premier League opener at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
The Danish international has made 32 appearances for Southampton Saints in all competitions during the 2020/21 season. He also played an important role for Denmark at the 2020 European Championships, helping his country reach the semifinals.
At the international level, Yannick Westergaard has represented Denmark at various youth levels and played 29 games for the first team.
